Totland is the most westerly Parish on the beautiful Isle of Wight, click here for a map showing its location. Within the Parish of Totland are the world famous Needles rocks and the colourful sands of Alum Bay.
In 2002 the population of the Parish was 2,709, during the summer this number rises as the visitors arrive. As well as the attraction of the excellent beaches it is a popular destination for walkers, birdwatchers and all those who enjoy the peace and quiet of rural surroundings. The village has a general store, post office and other shops. There are hotels, guest houses and caravan and camping facilities for visitors.
